............continuing and finishing a series of images from a school assignment on countries of the world completed at Corio primary school in 1968-9(?)aged 10. Drawn on brown paper, the drawings were a kind of film strip dragged through a constructed cardboard television. This the way the world seemed to a kid in a country school on the edge of a country town - F1 11's in the air, thalidomide limbs and snakes in the shelter shed, longicorn beetles and other kids with weird manes like Milo and Pasti.
Haven't seen a longicorn beetle since then......
